Tampa Bay is choosen to host the International SLAA Convention

The Tampa Bay Florida Intergroup Convention Committee is proud to announce the official S.L.A.A. International Convention for 2008. It will take place on Friday, July 18th through Sunday, July 20th in the Clearwater Florida area. This year's theme is "From Here to Serenity, It's Happening in '08".

This is your opportunity for you and your loved ones to strengthen your recovery by attending the FWS international convention and spending a few days of powerful recovery among fellow recovering addicts. You will be able to attend workshops and meetings on The 12 Steps and 12 Traditions as well as other recovery topics. We will have guest speakers sharing their hope, strength and experience. Don't miss the amazing Fun-filled live auction, immediately following the speaker to benefit SLAA FWS. Please bring an unwrapped new gift to be auctioned off for the good of SLAA. NO LIMITS!!

Start making your plans today to attend this year's exciting SLAA International Recovery Convention in Tampa Bay on Florida's famous Gulfcoast!

To attend this event:
1) Fill out the attached registration form and follow the instructions for mailing and/or emailing it to the registration committee.

 

2) Room registeration is available online at www.Radisson.com:

1. From the 'Reservations' page, in the Find a Hotel area, complete Sections 1 and 2
2. After completing these sections, scroll down to '4. Search for Special Rates (optional)
3. In the Promotional Code box, type August and click the Find Hotels > button. Note: This promotional code can also be used if calling the hotel to book a reservation.
